Choices Tarot Spread – A spread to help you make decisions

Posted June 18, 2015 by Hazellie Wong in Tarot Spreads / 3 Comments

I enjoy experimenting with spreads. I think that using spreads can be very useful when you want answers for specific questions and issues. In fact, some spreads are very good when you need specific answers to general questions as well.

When it comes to specific questions, however, I like creating my own spreads. That way, I know that the issue in question will be answered. A lot of the time, I make up the spreads based on the questions my clients ask, and it’s often different each time so they may or may not be useful to share with others.

The spread that I’m sharing today however, I feel can be used for anyone who’s facing a dilemma in their current situation. This spread is to look at the possible outcomes between two choices to determine which path would be more beneficial to the seeker. I call it the Choices Spread, because I’m oh, so creative that way. 😉

The diagram is pretty straightforward and self-explanatory, but I’ll add a description of the card positions below anyway.

choices spread

Card #1 – Represents the Seeker
Card #2 – Represents the current situation
Card #3 – Choice 1
Card #4 – Choice 2
Cards #5 & #6 – Short-term results of Choice 1
Cards #7 & #8 – Short-term results of Choice 2
Cards #9 & #10 – Long-term results of Choice 1
Cards #11 & #12 – Long-term results of Choice 2
Card #13 – Final outcome for Choice 1
Card #14 – Final outcome for Choice 2

There you have it. It’s truly a simple but useful spread, and I have had great feedback from other tarot readers and students that have used this spread. I hope that it’s useful for you too.

Hi Hazellie, I saw your choice spread which created by you. It looks interesting. Is the spread suitable for a beginner to use it as well?
