Shadowscapes Tarot Deck

Yesterday night I was talking to my father about art and the tarot, and since he’s a photographer, I suggested that he created some photos in the theme of a tarot deck. We browsed through lots and lots of different tarot decks just to get some ideas, and wouldn’t you know it, I fell in love with one so hard that I ordered it right away!

I present to you… the Shadowscapes Tarot deck!

The art is breathtaking! Just look at these!

I love how the archetypes have been represented, and how there is so much to interpret with the cards! I tend to interpret the tarot a few ways, through the universal meanings, the meanings stated in each deck’s accompanying book, and by looking at what’s happening in the pictures themselves.

The Hierophant is a tree! Will you just look at how gorgeous it is? How gorgeous they all are!

And most of all, I love it so much that the Death card is represented by the Phoenix! Death and rebirth, how apt. And how perfectly beautiful!

It’s going to take my order a couple of weeks to arrive, but I can’t wait to swoon over the art and start using it when it does! I’m sure I’ll get a lot of insight on my readings with a deck so filled with such meaningful symbolization!
